How does StickerFab Application Fluid help my installs and are there alternatives?

StickerFab application fluid is specially formulated for vinyl installs. It allows you to move vinyl into its correct position and then dries at an appropriate speed so that you can finish your install.

An alternative is one drop of dish soap (or 2) to one cup of water. Increase it proportionally if you are preparing more. The mixture matters and you should play around with it. Too little soap will make your vinyl stick immediately to the surface and be hard to move or take off to reposition. Too much soap will make it difficult to push edges of the vinyl down until it completely dries.

NOTE: Some installs recommend a dry install only. These installs may be using special vinyl that needs to stick to rough surfaces for instance.
